Functions

Thank you for your interest in hosting your function at Gertrude’s Brown Couch. We’re keen to accommodate your booking and are dedicated to ensuring the night is a great success.

We can cater for functions of all styles and sizes. For function events of 60 or more likely guests we recommend hiring our upstairs private function room, which holds up to 120 people. The private function room has a separate bar to downstairs for added privacy and our rear courtyard is easily accessible for smokers.

For smaller events it is possible to utilise space in the downstairs public bar. This would be suitable for groups ranging from 10-60 people. This style of gathering incurs no room hire fees or minimum spending stipulations and is a great way to host less formal occasions.

A $100 fee covering room hire and the use of our audio & AV equipment in the upstairs private room is required to secure your booking.

There is a guaranteed minimum spend required for private bookings in the upstairs function room. This can be utilised with the purchase of food platters & beverage tabs or packages.

 Catering

We can provide some delectable eats for your function with a variety of gourmet & party platters. For a list of the different options we offer please contact us.

Entertainment

We provide facilities for live bands, DJ’s, iPod connections and AV screenings.

License

Our venue is licensed until 1am.
PLEASE NOTE: As we are a licensed venue we are unable to cater for under 18’s.
